Yamini Pathak is the author of poetry chapbooks, Atlas of Lost Places (Milk and Cake Press) and Breath Fire Water Song (Ghost City Press). Her full-length collection is forthcoming in 2025 from Milk & Cake Press. Nominated for Best New Poets and a finalist for Frontier Poetry’s Global Poetry Prize (South Asia), her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Sierra, West Branch, Poetry Northwest, Waxwing, Tupelo Quarterly and elsewhere. She is a Poet in Schools for the Geraldine Dodge Foundation, a teaching artist at the West Windsor Arts Council, and serves as poetry editor for Inch micro-chapbooks published by Bull City Press. Yamini has received an MFA in Poetry from Antioch University, LA and has received support from Vermont Studio Center, VONA/Voices, Community of Writers, Tin House, and Kenyon Review Writers Workshop. It brings her much joy to belong to the Duniya Collective, an inter-disciplinary group of BIPOC artists. Born in India, she lives with her family in New Jersey.
